The Flower Gardens in University Park, Pennsylvania, is a great place to visit. It is meticulously watched over and cared for by its own staff. A wide variety of plants and flowers are grown there, and winding paths meander through it all to afford great vantage points. The Wild Images Team is from this area of Pennsylvania, and the Flower Gardens were the first place we visited after purchasing our first DSLR in 2013. It was a warm and sunny August day, and the light was reddening as early evening set in. We were able to capture hundreds of different images while there, and one was even deemed good enough to make it into our store, a rare designation since we are very selective. Strangely enough, the photo that made it into the store was from the very first series taken on that first day, near the entrance to the Gardens. Later on we came across this scene where yellow and red flowers form a distinct border between each other, and the shot was composed to highlight this floral dichotomy. The Wild Images Team has captured many other photos throughout Pennsylvania, including the postgame fireworks over the Andy Warhol Bridge, the colorful bursts of Independence Day fireworks over the Ohio River, the view as delicate flowers bloom in the Laurel Highlands, and the very early lantana at the University Park Flower Gardens, each of which is available for sale in our store. During our trips to New York on the other side of the state we have captured many photos such as in the Corning Museum of Glass antique cruets and dishware overlap, then in New York City itself the sudden snow squall over the Garment District, the scene of the Sherry-Netherland towering over a sculpture, and the opposite directed festive view of West 58th Street, each of which is available for sale in our store.
